SNI Helmet

Helmet is known as a head protector since 900BC, it was used by Assyrian soldiers in wars. Since the 1990s, most helmets are made from resin or plastic, which may be reinforced with fibers such as aramids.

What is SNI?

Indonesian National Standard (abbreviated SNI) is the only standard nationally applicable in Indonesia. SNI was formulated by the Technical Committee and defined by BSN, Badan Standardisasi Nasional (National Standardization Agency of Indonesia).

SNI Helmet
- The helmet must be made from a strong and impact-resistant material. The strong criteria material, such as plastic, fiber glass, fiber carbon. Up until now, fiber carbon was known as the strongest material. The fiber-carbon-helmets are very expensive, it's above 4 million Rupiah (it's about 425 USD). A fiber carbon helmet usually used for racing, because of its highly-proven safety.

- The inside part must be made from a foam material, so that it can protect our head from crash. This foam has to be coated by cloth material to absorb sweats. This combination should be feel comfort while used.

- The inside part of the helmet must also have a good air circulation system, so it makes us feel comfort even we use it for hours.

- The helmet have to be designed in half-face or full-face
